Credentials matter. Currently in Pennsylvania there is no licensure requirement for Home Inspectors. There are numerous national certification with various levels of training needed. The American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) is the oldest and most stringent national certification.  All our Inspectors are ASHI Certified and pride themselves in being a valuable resource in the real estate community.

ASHI Home Inspections include a visual inspection of the following components

Roof

Exterior

Structural

Electrical

Plumbing

Heating & Cooling Systems

Living Areas

Fixed Kitchen Appliances

Accessible windows, outlets, switches and doors

Every accessible basement area, crawl space & attic area

Attached garage

Detached buildings (garage, barn, shed, etc.) may be added for an additional fee.

A Home Inspection takes approximately 2-3 hours. We want to keep you safe! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic attendance is discouraged. Our Inspectors are happy to call at the end of the inspection to review their findings and answer any questions. If attendance is preferred, it's best to arrive at the end of the inspection for a recap.  The specifics of attending are reviewed upon scheduling based on the most current guidelines. We work to meet your comfort level while minimizing risk and keeping all parties as safe as possible.
